Local Handball Coaches Training Seminar
As part of the European project HIEP (Handball International Education Project), on Wednesday, November 20th, Olympiacos, in collaboration with CJT Solutions, successfully organized the first Local Handball Coaches Training Seminar.
This initiative followed the international seminar of the program and aimed at transferring the innovative HIEP methodology to a national level. The participants who were trained during the international phase of the project took an active role in educating their fellow coaches within the country, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and the strengthening of the coaching workforce.
The seminar involved 40 coaches, who actively participated in the activities and enriched the training dynamics with their feedback and experience.
Seminar Objectives
· To train national coaches in the HIEP methodology.
· To disseminate the knowledge and tools gained at the European level.
· To introduce the “Coaches' Manual” and the digital educational platform.
Content and Activities
The seminar included:
· Presentation of the HIEP methodology, adapted to the needs of the national sports environment.
· Practical scenarios aimed at enhancing the learning process.
· Active participation and feedback from the attendees, promoting collaborative learning.
The HIEP lays the foundation for a modern, inclusive, and sustainable approach to education in the sport of handball. Through initiatives such as this seminar, it promotes the continuous development of coaches, strengthens the quality growth of the sport, and enhances international cooperation.
